Paphos named best winter sun destination in 2019!

The city of Paphos has been named the best value destination for Brits looking for winter sun in 2019, during research conducted by the Post Office Travel Money team. The factors taken into consideration included the cost of a one-week holiday package (based on two sharing a room) at the beginning of January, an evening meal including wine, and the average prices of coffee and beers.

Paphos came out top, with a total average cost of £381.98pp, outwinning locations such as Lanzarote, Tenerife, Bali, Cancun, Mauritius, and more.

January may not be the hottest month in Cyprus, but temperatures still average around 16 degrees, and with plenty of sunshine, it's still a great escape from the winter blues!
